Frequently asked questions.
What is the dress code?
We’d love for our guests to dress in cocktail or dressy casual attire — polished, celebratory, and comfortable. Dresses, jumpsuits, or slacks with a button-up or blazer are all perfect. We kindly ask you to avoid wearing white, and we also suggest steering clear of reds, yellows, or oranges, which won’t quite fit the look and feel of the day.
While this isn't a black-tie event, we do ask that guests skip casualwear — We can’t wait to see you looking your best!
How outdoorsy is this wedding, exactly?
Pretty outdoorsy — in the best way! The entire celebration will take place outside, with dinner and dancing under a tent for some extra comfort. October in Lexington usually brings beautiful weather, but temperatures can dip once the sun goes down.
And while we love a good heel, keep in mind there will be grass and uneven ground, so shoes that won’t sink or wobble are a smart choice.
We’ll be prepared if the weather doesn’t cooperate — but we’re crossing our fingers for crisp air and a perfect fall sky.
If I’m traveling to Lexington, where should I stay?
If you’re traveling to town for the wedding, we’d love to help make your stay comfortable. Please reach out to the mother of the bride or the mother of the groom for lodging recommendations. They’ll be happy to assist you in finding the best option for your visit.
Is parking available?
Yes — there will be on-site parking available at the venue. Please note that the venue is located at the end of a one mile long gravel road, so allow a little extra Time to arrive and park comfortably. We recommend driving yourself or carpooling, as rideshare services are not available in the area.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
You’ll be able to note any dietary needs when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate allergies or special requests!
We’ll be arriving earlier in the day — any recommendations for lunch or things to do?
